| I don't really feel like updating my Xanga anymore. But I think I will
keep it so I can look at other people's and can leave comments and
receive comments.

| The summer has been okay so far. Nothing too exciting. Just working at
Eckerd and having to deal with mean and annoying people, but I am
leaving to work at Camp-of-the-Woods in the Adirondacks as a pantry
assistant June 29-Aug. 20. I've been told it is one of the better positions.
Even though the pay isn't amazing, I feel this will be a great
experience and that God is planning on teaching me a lot this summer. Tomorrow my
family and I are going with our cousins to Bethany Beach for 8 days. I
have a lot of packing to do tonight! My mom and I need to drop the birds off at Petology and go to Savemart, too.

| When I checked my official grades, I actually got 2 A's, a B+ and a B- in organic chem only because of the ridiculous curves he gave us, but I'm not complaining. Haven't done much yet with my summer besides working at Eckerd and toting the poops to and from school. Today I am going away to visit my friend Liz from Messiah in Southampton, NJ. It'll be a blast. We are seeing the DaVinci Code tonight and going to the mall. If the weather is nice we'll probably go to the boardwalk tomorrow and maybe some of her friend's parties at night. Then Sunday I am coming back and going to the Symphony with my Mom. Fun stuff. I am getting back into bad eating habits again now that I am home. It's easier to eat better at school, for me anyways because healthy food is right there. I can always make a turkey sandwich or salad and I don't usually have that stuff on hand always unless I go to the store every few days so the food stays fresh. I work out a lot still but I don't want to get chunky from bad foods. Too much ice cream all over the place too! | | |
| Classes and finals are over! This semester, I think I got 1 A, 2 B+'s and a C in organic chem which is going to kill my GPA. At least that horrible class is over! Last weekend Ashley visited Messiah and we went out to see Scary Movie 4 with Josh. Some funny parts, but basically stupid, so don't waste your $. I have to stay here until Friday because the orchestra is recording. Basically everyone already left so it is very quiet. At least my roomie Amy is here recording for choir. She is so much fun! We are going tubing tomorrow down Yellow Breeches with our RA. I got into Solly 119 next year, which is at the end of the hall right before the entrance to Mountain View. A couple of my good friends are in MV first so that will be nice. I am rooming with my friend Mana next year, who is also a nursing major. I think we will get along nicely since we have similar living habits and can be a good support system for one another in our nursing curriculum.
Plans for the summer:
*Working at Eckerd for 1 month *Visiting Liz for a weekend, May 19-21 *Rehoboth Beach with Ashley and Sarah? *Bethany Beach with family and cousins for 8 days *Working at Camp-of-the-Woods in the Adirondacks as a pantry assistant for 8 weeks
I can't wait to go home and start my summer!

| yayness for warm weather! Hopefully it is here to stay :) :) :)
I just did the 30 Hour Famine for the first time this weekend. It was
tough but not as bad as I had expected it to be. I was able to raise
$65 for it, and the cafeteria donated the money towards the meals we
did not eat to this cause for World Vision. This event definitely
made me
appreciate how much I have, to be able to eat whenever I want, and
basically whatever I want. A lot of kids in Africa are lucky to get a
small meal every couple of days.
This should be an easy week. Friday afternoon I am off to Pitt to visit
University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne with my family for my sister to
check the colleges out. I get to see two of my best friends, Ashley and
Nicole! Ashley is taking us with her to parties on Saturday night at
Pitt. I am expecting them to be much crazier than the one I went to @
Bucknell.
